It can often be difficult to keep motivating teams to be ever critical of their efforts and to continually seek to improve the quality and “excitement” of the their bids/tenders. We would be able to quickly review one of your previous proposals and make a range of valid suggestions as to where we believe improvements can be made. This could be done in isolation and using just the submission, or we could undertake a more thorough review and use the customers scoring matrices. We would also be able to meet up with the client evaluation team and undertake the supplier feedback session for you in an impartial and unemotional capacity so that a clear feedback can be made to your management team.

The Tradax team have significant experience of reviewing bid documentation, and a key service that we provide is to be a critical, and impartial, set of eyes in the final stages. We also recognise that the last thing a busy bid team needs with days or even hours to go, is a fully documented critique of the bid, with no time left to action anything. A sweeping comment such as; “The bid totally misses the commercial expectations of the client” would not be helpful or motivational. As such, we would be very pragmatic and look to provide useful and score enhancing suggestions relevant to the stage and timing.

The Tradax team have up to 15 years individual senior level experience of public sector tenders, and have personally led bid teams of 60 professionals and bid values in the hundreds of millions. We have a full understanding of risk, pricing, and other commercial and financial issues. This particular work stream would be led by our Managing Director, Adam Hoyle FCMA, and could both support the bid teams, or report directly into the management team in an advisory role.
